William "Ziggy" Ziegenfus My first guitar experience was at 14 years old back in the early 1970's. I started playing 24/7 and taking lessons... This love kept blossoming and from this point on I always had a guitar with me... While in High School and college, I played in small bands mostly Rock. In college I played in my fraternity's house band. I truly loved working in the band, but I realized I was not going to be the star and started looking for other ways to be involved with music. I'm good at solving problems with people, guitars and amps. I spent most of my time at the local guitar store and eventually got a weekend job helping the guitar guys with repairs and setup's. By the end of it, I was doing my own setups and repairs. Unfortunately for me, I was spending too much of my time at the store and not on my studies. This developed into a lifelong passion now over 40 years. Today, I love working on guitars and with Musicians finding the right gear and correct tone. My formal training came from SEGR (South East Guitar Repair). My wife and I moved to North Carolina from Maine 6 years ago. We have 2 grown sons and 2 grandchildren that are constant joy to me.
